Camp sessions are scheduled from June 13 thru July 30 with age specific sessions designed to provide camp experiences for everyone from the first time camper to the experienced Counselor-in-Training. Sessions have been carefully crafted to help girls build courage by exploring new adventures and grow confidence by discovering their abilities. Girls will build a sense of pride and accomplishment that comes from taking age-appropriate risks under the watchful eye of experienced, trained and enthusiastic staff. Listed below are the Summer Camp sessions and their descriptions in order by grade. Check out our 2010 Summer Camp Brochure for more detailed information. Registration begins March 1. Camp Tikawitha - 2 Night Session
Wee Bit O’ Camp I or II , Grade 1-3 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $100 • Dates: June 13-15 OR June 16-18
Are you ready to experience all the exciting things Camp Tik-A-Witha has to offer but not quite ready for a whole week? Then this unit is for you! Come spend two fun filled nights and three days with us! You will go swimming, cook out, make arts and crafts, go on a hike, plus make lots of new friends. (limit 12)
Daisy Daze, Grade K-1 – Camp Tik-A-Witha Session Full
Cost: $100 • Dates: July 18-20
Kindergarten or 1st grade girls and your Mom’s are invited to join us for your first experience at camp. Come spend a couple of nights in our lodge and experience all camp has to offer. You and your Mom will enjoy playing games, swimming, doing arts and crafts and much, much more. (Limit 12)
Brownie Breakout, Grade 2-3 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $100 • Dates: July18-20
First time campers will enjoy camping with their own troop in this “core-camping” program. All activities will be planned and guided by the camp staff. Come be a kid again and experience camp with your girls. Leaders will participate in all activities with their girls. Cabins will be set up with one adult and four girls. There is no charge for the first leader attending camp with the troop. Each additional leader for every 4 girls pays $45.00. (Limit 40)
Momma Mia!, Grade 2-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha Session Full
Cost: $100 • Dates: July 18-20
Nothing is more fun than just hanging with the girls, bring your Mom (Aunt, Grandma, the lady in your life) to relax to the max. You will be hot to trot hanging on the beach, show your Mom how much fun you two can have at camp. We will lounge by the pool, play games, even have a little makeover. For all you hotel campers, there is the option to crash in the lodge. (Limit 12)
Troop Trek, Grade 1-8 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $100 Dates July 18-20
Now your entire troop can enjoy summer camp. Your leader and all the girls will enjoy all the fun activities that we will plan for you. Your group will canoe, swim, hike, arts and crafts, games and so much more. Come take a trek with your Troop at Camp Tik-AWitha. (Limit 32)
Chick-A-Dees I or II, Grade 1-3 – Kamp Kiwani - Chick-A-Dees I, June 27-17 Session Full

Become a Camp Cedar Point Fairy! Make your very own fairy wand, take a hike down the fairy trail, and create your own fairy dance. You will also take part in all the traditional camp activities. (Limit 12)
Mermaids, Grade 1-3 – Camp Cedar Point
Cost $250 • Date: June 20-25
Do you enjoy the water? Then you will love this session. Spend time at the pool, playing water games, and try out the paddle boats. You will enjoy a breakfast by the lake. There will be plenty of time for all the regular camp activities as well. (Limit 12)
Water Logged, Grade 1-3 – Camp Cedar Point - Closed
Cost $250 • Date: June 27 – July 2
You will have time at the pool, explore the lake, as well as play water games. Time will still be there for arts and crafts as well as other traditional camp activities. (Limit 12)
Camp Try-It, Grade 1-3 – Camp Cedar Point - Closed
Cost $250 • Date: July 4-9
This session is for the campers who want to try it all! Hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, and so much more. Come on out to Camp Cedar Point and try it all while making new friends and memories. (Limit 12)
Outdoor and S’More, Grade 1-3 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 20-25
Heard all about camp and wish there was something just for you? This session is for newer campers to get a taste of being at camp. Sleep over with your friends, sing songs, swim and make ooeygooey S’Mores. It’s all a part of your first camp experience! (Limit 12)
Water Bugs, Grade 1-3 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 27-July 2
Hey Water Bugs! If you are a returning camper and love the water then this unit is for you! You’ll spend time in the pool learning how to swim and learning fun water games. You will also get to explore the lake. You will still have time for all the other fun things at camp like arts and crafts, hiking, campfires and more! (limit 20)
Let’s Try It, Grade 1-3 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 27-July 2
Do you love trying new things? From Outdoor Adventure to Puppets, Dolls and Plays! Come earn as many Brownie Try-its as you can. We will have a great time at camp trying all of the camp activities. Come on Let’s Try It! (Limit 12)
Fairy Fun, Grade 1-3 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: July 4 – 9
Come create a day of memories playing games, doing crafts and exploring your favorite fairytales. During this program girls will enjoy dress up, take a hike on the fairy trail and a dip in our magic reflecting pool. It will be Fairy Fun! (Limit 12)
Puddle Ducks, Grade 1-3 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: July 11 –16
We’ve seen them playing at the water’s edge, splashing in the pool, having fun wherever they go. Come be a puddle duck and play with us. We’ll waddle on down to the pool, cool off in the sprinkler and even make our way to the lake to check out the toys. (Limit 12)
Brownie Blitz, Grade 1-3 – Kamp Kiwani Session Full

Discover the fun of summer camp during this session. Come and
experience games, arts and crafts, nature activities, swimming,
and canoeing in our beautiful lake. Make new friends and possibly
see some old ones during this brownie blitz. (Limit 12)
S’mores-n-More, Grade 1-3 – Kamp Kiwani

This is the session for the more experienced camper who is looking for S’more. Get ready for an adventure that includes canoeing, hanging with friends, playing games, doing arts and crafts and much much S’more. (Limit 12)
Come on, Let’s Try It, Grade 1-3 – Kamp Kiwani

Princess Party, Grade 1-3 – Kamp Kiwani - CLOSED

Turn your unit into an enchanted kingdom by becoming your favorite storybook princess. You will make your own crown or tiara, enjoy glitter and glamour at a party fit for a princess. There will still be time to play on the beach, canoe, and do arts and crafts. (Limit 12)
Sun N Fun, Grade 4-6 – Camp Cedar Point

Just want to have fun in and around the water? You will have tons of lake and pool time as well as all the other exciting camp activities such as arts and crafts, hiking, and campfires. (Limit 12)
Moon Shadows, Grade 4-6 – Camp Cedar Point
Cost $250 • Date: June 13-18
Enjoy the camp “night life.” Go on moonlight swims, and play late night games. Stay up late, and sleep late but don’t worry there will be plenty of time for all the fun daytime camp activities as well. (Limit 16)
H2O, Grade 4-6 – Camp Cedar Point

Get ready for an on-the-go week at camp. Spend your days playing games and sports you love to play. When its time for a break you can chill out at the pool or go make a craft. Don’t forget about cookouts and of course S’mores! (Limit 16)
Pampered Pals, Grade 4-6 – Camp Cedar Point - Closed

Want to take it a little easier? You will get a makeover, hang out with friends, and maybe even order room service. There is always time for arts and crafts and don’t forget about the pool! (Limit 12)
Water U Waiting For?, Grade 4-6 – Camp Cedar Point - Closed

We have all things wet ready to go! Come and explore the lake with a canoe, swim in the pool and play any number of water games. You don’t want to miss out on other camp activities so there will be time for arts and crafts, hiking, campfires and more, Oh My! (Limit 16)

Wet-N-Wild, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha

Get wet on the Water Totter! Go wild on the blob! Come checkout the slide at the swimming pool! No matter where you choose to be wet-n-wild, it is sure to be a week of fun. (limit 20)
Cheer Zone, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 13-18
You have entered the CHEER ZONE- Give me a T! Give me an A! Give me a W! What does it spell? An awesome week learning new cheers and dances. We will have cheer instructors here to teach you those routines. You will also have time to spend around camp and in the pool. (limit 20)
Moonlight Mischief, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha

When the sun goes down, the adventure begins! Scavenger hunts by moonlight, raids for late-night snacks in the kitchen, and flashlight freeze tag all make this an exciting week of mischief just for you! (limit 16)
Pamper Me Please!, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha - Session Full

You and your friends can “hang out” together. Swim, lounge by the pool, watch movies on the big screen, order pizza, sing karaoke, try new hairstyles, get a makeover, order “Room Service”, or paint your nails. You’ll also select from traditional camp activities like crafts, archery, canoeing or hiking to round out your pampered week. (limit 12)
Sun-N-Select, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 20-25
We’ll all have Fun in the Sun during this week of camp. Enjoy everything that camp fun has to offer from arts and crafts to a ride on the Water Totter! We’re breaking out the beach balls, pack your swimsuit and head on over. You’ll also be able to pick how you would like to spend the rest of your time at camp.(limit 20)
Dive-In, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 20-25
Dive, swim, or float in... the water’s fine! Spend the day poolside and participate in other fun camp activities such as archery, challenge course, toys at the lake, and so much more. Grab your goggles and lets go. (limit 20)
CSI: Camp Scene Investigators, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha - Session Full
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 27-July 2
Do you love a good mystery and nature? When you get to camp, you will be met by detectives who will assist you in finding clues that will help you solve this week-long mystery. During this week, this adventure will take you boating, swimming, hiking, and doing a few crafts to help you get to the bottom of things! (limit 20)
Trail Mix, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 27- July 2
Want to hike deep into the woods and experience camp like no other? This trek will include hiking to Robin’s Nest, backpacking, and experiencing the out of doors. You’ll also get to experience all the other camp activities. (limit 16)
Night Howls, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 27 –July 2
Stay up late and stargaze. Hiking, swimming, and playing games will occupy your nighttime hours. Sleep late then cook your own breakfast before taking part in fun daytime camp dventures such as archery, canoeing and the new tower at the challenge course. (limit 16)
Summer Sizzler, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: July 4-9
It’s heating up outside and the activities we have planned are blazing with fun and adventure. You’ll help us plan the best way to cool off as we hit the pool and lake. Pack your bags, camps a sizzlin’! (limit 20)
Pony Tails, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha Session Full
Cost: $350 • Dates: July 4-9
Giddy up, let’s go - the horses are waiting. Check out camp from horseback while being able to enjoy all the other activities at camp. Campers must bring long pants and hard sole shoes with a heel, such as riding boots. (Limit 12)
Climb High, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: July 11-16
Climb High and reach for the sky as you scale the 35 foot rock wall at the challenge course. You’ll love the new heights you’ll reach as you explore all of the activities we have to offer at camp. (Limit 16)
Water Mania, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: July 11-16
Enjoy different water activities every day plus a dip in the pool. There’s so many activities to choose from by the end of the week you’ll be waterlogged. (Limit 20)
Filly Fun, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $350 • Dates: July 4-9
Learn grooming and horse care and participate in beginning riding lessons. Come spend time at the barn with your favorite four legged friend while also enjoying all the other camp activities. When not at the barn you’ll have time in the pool, archery and lake. (Limit 12)
Hoof Beats, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $350 • Dates: July 11-16
Haven’t spent much time in the saddle? Come spend a week on horseback. We will start slow and have a great time. This week is for girls with little or no experience on horses. Campers must bring long pants and hard sole shoes with a heel, such as riding boots. (Limit 12)
Junior Jamboree, Grade 4-6 – Camp Tik-A-Witha

You asked for it...you got it! For first-time campers at the Junior Age-Level. Girls can enjoy camping with their troop in this “corecamping” program. All activities will be planned and guided by the camp staff. Come be kid again and experience camp with your girls. Leaders will participate in all activities with their girls. Mucky, moldy, and messy! Discover the science of all things yucky. During this session you will explore our gross and fascinating world. This includes science experiments, making slime, getting the dirt on worms and other creepy creatures. Plus, don’t forget all the other fun camp activities: canoeing, archery, arts and crafts and more. (Limit 16)
Melody Makers & More, Grade 4-6 – Kamp Kiwani
Cost $250 • Date: June 20 – 25
Do you like to sing and make music? Learn traditional camp songs and make up or introduce some new ones. Want to make music? You will make instruments and be a part of Kamp Kiwani’s Melody Makers Band. There will also be plenty of time for all the other fun things camp has to offer such as arts and crafts, canoeing, hiking and cooking out. (Limit 16)
Sports Spectacular, Grade 4-6 – Kamp Kiwani

Girl Scouts are great sports and great at sports. Come test your skills with softball, volleyball, soccer, and basketball. There will still be time for other fun activities: canoeing, kayaking, arts and crafts, archery and more. (Limit 16)
Cowpokes, Grade 4-6 – Kamp Kiwani - Session Full
Cost $ 350 • Date: June 27- July 2
Come on out and begin your training as a cowpoke. You will spend time at the ranch each day learning the ins and outs of horse care and riding. This is the first of two steps to becoming a ranchero. Along with horseback riding you will still do all the traditional things at camp such as archery, swimming and canoeing in our beautiful lake, arts and crafts and more. (Limit 12)
Buckaroos, Grade 5-7 – Kamp Kiwani
Cost $400 • Date: 7 day session June 27 – July 3
If you have had at least one summer session worth of horseback training and are ready to take it one step closer to being a ranchero. You will stay at Sandy Springs Ranch for a more in depth training in horse care and riding. There will still be some time for traditional camp fun, archery, challenge course, arts and crafts, canoeing and more. (Limit 12)
Creation Station, Grade 4-6 – Kamp Kiwani
Cost $250 • Date: June 13-18
Let your creative side go! Participate in special craft projects selected just for this program. Try wood burning, sculpting, jewelry making, and tie-dying, plus all the other camp activities. (Limit 16)
KCA: Kiwani Cheer Academy, Grade 4-6 – Kamp Kiwani
Cost $250 • Date: June 27-July 2
So you like to cheer or you want to learn? This will be the perfect session for you. You will learn cheers and dances from a seasoned competitive cheerleader, and you will get a chance to show off a cheer and a dance for the camp. Don’t forget all the other fun camp activities you will get to participate in like canoeing, arts and crafts, and cooking out. (Limit 16)
Artrageous, Grade 4-6 – Kamp Kiwani
Cost $250 • Date: July 4 – 9
If arts and crafts are what you love most about camp then come dip your brush into this session. You will spend lots of time learning new crafts such as sculpting clay, making pottery, and jewelry. Oh! The artrageous things you will make. Not to worry there will be plenty of time for canoeing and campfires too! (Limit 16)
Glamour Girls, Grade 4-6 – Kamp Kiwani
Cost $250 • Date: July 4 – 9
Fashion is not lost at camp. Now is the time to come and enjoy the softer side of camp and relax. This session includes makeovers and modeling in the fashion show. Come check out “fashion week” at Kamp Kiwani. (Limit 16)
Got Game?, Grade 4-6 – Kamp Kiwani
Cost $250 • Date: July 11 – 16
From parachute games to board games from outside games to inside games. This session is all about games. You will learn new games and play some old games, even better if you bring some game ideas yourself. Don’t think we won’t find time for some canoeing, archery or arts and crafts because we will do it all. (Limit 16)
Drama Queens, Grade 4-6 – Kamp Kiwani
Cost $250 • Date: July 11 –16
So you like to act and be silly? This session will require you to act up! There are many parts to putting on a show so if you love to be in front of the camera or behind the scenes come be a part of our debut performance at Kamp Kiwani as you will put on a show for all of camp. You will still have time to participate in all our fun camp activities. (Limit 16)
Slumber Daze, Grade 4-6 – Kamp Kiwani - CLOSED
Cost $250 • Date: July 18-23
Do you love stuffed animals? Bring a stuffed buddy to camp. You will have a slumber party at your unit house and spend time making accessories for your stuffed buddies. Don’t worry there will be plenty of time for canoeing, arts and crafts, and all the other camp activities. (Limit 16)
Creative Creatures, Grade 4-6 – Kamp Kiwani - CLOSED
Cost $250 • Date: July 18-23
Add a splash of color, a dab of texture, and a spark of imagination and you have the recipe for fun. Make your own jewelry and enjoy edible crafts. There will still be time at the lake to play on the beach, canoe, or go swimming. (Limit 16)
Jr. Survivor, Grade 6-8 – Camp Cedar Point
Cost $250 • Date: June 13-18
If you’re ready for an adventuresome week in the woods, then this is the session for you. Learn to identify animals by their tracks, build fires maybe even without matches. You might have a chance to pitch a tent. (Limit 16)
Makin Waves, Grade 6-8 – Camp Cedar Point
Cost $250 • Date: June 20-25
It’s all about water fun, paddle down for excitement on the lake. We will canoe, kayak, and learn basic sailing skills. Don’t worry there will be time for archery, hiking, and arts and crafts. (Limit 16)
Water Olympics, Grade 6-8 – Camp Cedar Point - Closed
Cost $250 • Date: July 4-9
Always dreamed of taking the GOLD? Come check out Cedar Point’s Olympic games. You will participate in Water Ballet, Canoe Races, Water Polo, and tons of other activities as you go for the GOLD. (Limit 16)
Bam!, Grade 6-8 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 13-18
Emeril’s got nothing on you! Become a master chef as you whip up tasty treats, plan and host a dinner party. Experiment with new recipes and learn to cook in a box oven, dutch oven, or even a brown paper bag. (Limit 12)
Hike It Bike It, Grade 6-8 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 20-25
Bring your bike and helmet, and take to the trail! You’ll cruise around camp in style, making a few pit stops along the way for all the other camp activities. When you’re too tired for two wheels, take a leisurely stroll to the outpost. **Bike and Helmet are required** (Limit 16)
Ropes and Floats, Grade 6-8 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $250 • Dates: June 20-25
On Belay! Spotters Ready? Cast Off! TAW has a great climbing tower with a rock wall. Join us for fun, learning, hanging out, and a relaxing float in the pool or lake. Come take the challenge of climbing the tower 35 feet up then off to the lake to enjoy the toys.

Iron Chef, Grade 6-8 – Camp Tik-A-Witha

Dutch ovens ready?? Campers ready?? What will be your secret ingredient? Join us for a week of camp fun and a cook off. Be creative as you raid the kitchen for all that you will need to make your dish awesome. (Limit 12)
Belay On!, Grade 6-8 – Camp Tik-A-Witha

Let’s check out the Challenge course as you harness up and Belay On! You will climb your way to the top in the morning and relax by the pool in the afternoon. All the other camp activities are waiting so don’t delay. (Limit 12)

You are now entering the Twilight Zone! This is perfect for the girl who wants to experience some mystery by moonlight. Observe the night sky; take a hike in your pajamas and even canoe under the stars. (Limit 16)

Create your own scrapbook to document your session at camp. Find your inspiration in friends, nature walks, or in a sunset by the lake. You will find photo opportunities around every corner. Don’t forget to leave time to canoe, go to the archery range and much more. (Limit 16)

Get your group, get a challenge and GO! Each day you will be faced with a new challenge from building a shelter, to making a raft. You may even find your way to a location with a map and a compass. This is a week sure to be filled with a new surprise each day. (Limit 16)

Pack & Paddle, Grade 7-12 – Camp Tik-A-Witha Session Full

Love camp but want to explore new areas? Spend seven days on this great adventure! This session includes an out of camp backpacking trip to Sipsey National Forest. We’ll grab our packs and head off to Sipsey National Forest for an overnighter, then we’ll paddle along the Bear Creek on our kayaks. Come explore this area with waterfalls, caves and more. Mix It Up!, Grade 7-12 – Camp Tik-A-Witha

Take your horse experience to the next level. We’ll explore our new trails at camp. You’ll also experience the Camp Tik-A-Witha Outpost. Participants should be comfortable around horses. Campers must wear long pants and hard sole shoes with a heel, such as riding boots. We have a smaller limit so register early! (Limit 10)

This is a two week session
So you have already been a cowpoke and a buckaroo? Ready for a more advanced session? This session at Sandy Springs Ranch is for you. You will improve your riding skills as you spend serious time in the saddle. You will ride the trails and prepare for a horseshow! Participants must be comfortable around horses and able to control a horse at a walk and trot. Long riding pants and riding boots are a must!! (Limit 16)
Bike and Backpack, Grade 7-12 – Kamp Kiwani
Cost $250 • Date :June 27-July 2
Got a bike? Bring it with your helmet. You will explore trails on your bike and backpack to different destinations around camp. You will spend less time walking and more time doing challenge course and going to the archery range as well as a variety of other camp activities. ** Bike and Helmet required** (Limit12)
Just Chillin’, Grade 7-12 – Kamp Kiwani

Hangout with your friends and just chill. We will keep it simple and laid back just for you. Don’t want to get up early? No problem, have a lazy breakfast and start the day when you are ready. You will have a part in laying out your week ahead. (Limit 12)
Survivor!, Grade 7-12 – Kamp Kiwani

Are you ready for a challenge? Venture out and away from your posh cabin and experience truly primitive camping. Put up your own tent; make your own food, Build your own fires; even learn to build a fire without matches. There will still be plenty of time for other camp activities such as the challenge course and archery range. (Limit 12)
What Can You Do?, Grade 7-12 – Kamp Kiwani - CLOSED

It’s up to you! You will help plan your week with choices from having a pizza party, to making a trash can band, you may even want to canoe across the lake to have a campout. The sky is the limit with this session. (Limit 12)

Counselor-In-Training, Grade 11-12 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
First year: $350 • Second year: Work Study
Dates: June 13-July 9• Grades 11-12 only
This advanced leadership course is open to girls who are interested in preparing for a position on a camp staff, learning job skills and having the best time of their lives! This two year program gives girls the chance to develop their camp skills, learn teaching techniques, explore counselor responsibilities and camp operations. You will learn how to help Susie through her homesickness, work with a unit of Juniors, find Karen’s lost sock, and get 15 Brownies to remember their water bottles for the hike, all while everyone (including you) has fun! After we receive your registration form, you will be sent a CIT application.
CIT Scholarship
One first year CIT will be chosen to receive the CIT Scholarship. This scholarship will pay for the entire CIT Program. Girls wishing to apply for this scholarship should contact the council office for
an application. The recipient will be chosen on May 14, 2010.
Wrangler-In-Training, Grade 11-12 – Kamp Kiwani Session Full

This advanced leadership course is open to girls who are interested in preparing for an equestrian position on a camp staff, learning job skills and having the best time of their lives! This two year program gives girls the chance to develop their horse care skills, learn teaching techniques, explore counselor responsibilities and equestrian operations. If you would like to work more with horses, the WIT program is for you. Participants must be experienced riders. (Limit 4)

Elizabeth Gwin Session for Special Children – Camp Tik-A-Witha
Cost: $175 • Dates: July 25-30
This special session is designed for girls and boys with special needs. Children who are physically and/or mentally challenged are encouraged to apply. Applications for this session can be obtained by contacting the Girl Scout office. This session is staffed by medical professionals and counselors who volunteer their time for this special week. The fee is $175.00. Financial assistance is available.
Let’s All Play, Grades 7-12 – Camp Tik-A-Witha
