Girl Scouts Heart of the South is committed to meeting the needs of girls in our community. Remaining fiscally sound requires significant community investment. We strive to cultivate and foster a culture of philanthropy through programming, relationship building and collaboration to remain the premiere leadership development program for girls. Through generous donors we can expand our revenues and build our capacity within our organization, to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of girls today and for generations to come. Girl Scouts Heart of the South is the only organization in our 59-county service area that provides the depth and breadth of experiences for girls to develop as leaders. The Girl Scout Leadership Experience is the only program of its kind to deliver measurable outcomes in dedicated, age-appropriate curriculum designed from comprehensive research into the leadership training needs of girls, consistently throughout the United States

Giving is Easy
There are many ways to donate. Your gift to Girl Scouts Heart of the South is tax deductable to the full extent of the law and we will mail you an acknowledgement of your gift.

Annual Campaign - General unrestricted operating donations help Girl Scouts Heart of the South in whatever way is most needed.

Family Partnership - Families of Girl Scouts donate to help girls lead healthy and successful lives. Family Partnership donations are voluntary and are not a prerequisite for membership. Download a Family Partnership Form to mail your contribution or click here to donate now.

Memorial or Honorarium - Gifts remember a loved one. We will mail a personalized note, without disclosing the gift amount, to the family of the person remembered or the individual being honored. To donors, we mail an acknowledgement of your contribution.

Restricted Donations – Gifts tailored by donors to satisfy their deeply held values as well as specific needs of Heart of the South.

Planned Gifts - outright or deferred gifts that are carefully tailored to help donors gain personal, financial and tax benefits while maximizing the impact of gifts to Heart of the South. They may involve cash, appreciated securities, life insurance, charitable gift annuities, bequests, retirement investments, real estate or personal property.

United Way Support - United Way organizations serve our communities by generating and uniting community resources to support local non-profits. Funds raised by United Ways are distributed to non-profits having a strong, effective impact on the community’s most critical issues. Girl Scouts Heart of the South is proud to partner with 11 United Ways across our region (click here for list) to make a difference in the lives of Girl Scouts. We appreciate their support and the individual donors who contribute.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company matches, please request a matching gift form from your employer.
