Two Projects Completed at Camp Fisherville

The Long Range Property Planning Committee is pleased to share with you the progress that is being made on our property plan.  Two projects were approved for Camp Fisherville.

The first was to install a green screen where our property adjoins our neighbors.  Native plants were used to provide privacy for our girls while they are using the Cookie Pavilion.  The landscaper did an amazing job with the selection and placement of the plants.  It looks totally natural.

The second project addresses the water flowing into the lodge.  We worked with a landscaper that installed a dry creek bed and plants (pictured above).  We also paved the pathway to the lodge and installed a bridge across the new creek bed.  This not only addressed our flooding issues but is beautiful as well.
