Law & Order

Girl Scouts discovered the law and connected with some of the best women lawyers and judges in Mississippi! This day long program covered several topics including criminal and civil law and courtroom prosecution and defense. Girls worked towards earning the Law and Order Interest Project Award. In addition, this exciting program ended with girls participating in a mock trial with a real judge.

Alli was believed to be truthful when she said the drugs were not hers, even though she admitted to having a cell phone in her backpack, knowing that was against the rules.

We would like to thank the following people who made this day possible: Hon. Donna M. Barnes, Miss. Appeals Court Judge, Jackson, MS, Hon. Jacqueline E. Mask, Miss. 1st District Senior Chancery Judge, Pontotoc, MS Hon. Martha B.
